Privacy Policy

The Family Seed Foundation ("we", "us") is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This page explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by The Family Seed Foundation.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly:

• Contact form submissions: your name, email, and message.
• RSVPs: your name, email, and the event you are attending.
• Donations: your name (optional), email (for a receipt), and payment details processed by Stripe.

We do not sell your information. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

• Reply to messages you send through the contact form.
• Confirm event RSVPs and share logistics for that event.
• Send you a donation receipt and, if you opt in, occasional program updates.
• Understand which programs are most useful so we can plan the next season.

Third parties we rely on

We use a small number of vendors to run this site and process donations. They receive only what they need to do their job:

• Stripe: processes donations and event payments. See Stripe's privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.
• Lovable Cloud (backed by Supabase): hosts our database and authenticates staff to our admin tools.

How long we keep it

Contact messages and RSVPs are retained for as long as they are useful to run our programs, typically no longer than three years. Donation records are retained as required by U.S. nonprofit recordkeeping law.

Children

Our programs serve families with children. Parents and guardians provide any information about a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@thefamilyseed.org. Donation records required by law are the one exception.
