What happens at Pitch Night?

Pitch Night is a Shark Tank-style showcase for kids who have completed our four-week course. Each young founder takes the stage for a few minutes to present their business idea to a friendly panel of judges, family members, and mentors. After each pitch, the panel asks gentle questions and offers encouragement. The evening closes with recognition for every participant and a small awards moment to celebrate the work.

Who are the judges and what do they look for?

Our judges are local entrepreneurs, mentors, and community leaders who believe in young people. They score ideas on clarity, creativity, problem-solving, and confidence, not on perfect business plans or polished slides. The goal is encouragement and feedback, not elimination.

Do parents need to attend?

Yes. Pitch Night is designed as a family experience. A parent or guardian stays to cheer, support, and celebrate. Siblings and grandparents are welcome too, the more encouragement in the room, the better.

What should my child bring?

Kids should bring a simple poster or one-page business plan, any prototype or sample they made, and notes for their pitch. A laptop or tablet is optional. Most importantly, they should bring their enthusiasm and a willingness to share their idea.

How long is each pitch?

Each child gets about three to five minutes to present, followed by a brief Q&A with the judges. The total event usually lasts around ninety minutes, depending on the number of participants.

Pitch Night is the finale of our four-week entrepreneurship course. The weekly sessions are where kids develop, practice, and refine their pitches. Graduates of the course are invited to present at the next Pitch Night.
